We're back..and have no idea what time it is.

The Good News: We're back home safe from our trip and had an amazing time. Our passports are a little more full, and we have successfully navigated ourselves through 14 days, 8 airports, and 4 countries.

The Bad News: We have learned the meaning of the term jetlagged. I am currently 16 hours ahead of California time. oi.

So I'd love to tell you all about the wonderful places we've seen, but I've got to get my body back into this timezone first.

Hooray for travel hangovers.

Out curing some wonderlust.

Sorry for the radio silence, but we're currently out of the country! Torrey and I have been running around Asia for the past week, and we've got a little more exploring to do before we head back home.

So bare with me a little longer, and I'll be sure to brag about all the fun when life is a little more boring ;)

If you want to follow along with the adventure, I'll be instagramming it all @noellepuanani

A little extra in love today..

Husband has been working 60 weeks, leaving before I wake up and coming home after I'm already asleep.

When I got off work tonight and saw these:

I knew that he went out of his way on his lunch break to buy me flowers, and put them in a vase to surprise me when I came home.

yep. love him.

Still alive, but just barely.

Yes that's right, I'm still here.

and I might be exaggerating a bit. I'm not dying.

But between a bad cold turned sinus infection, shopping for all things TSA approved, and a husband that's working 60 hours a week, we're not what you'd call the life of the party.

(My body likes to start the year off right- this time last year I had a bad case of mono. Awesome immune system over here.)

But lots of life has been happening lately, so I thought I'd journal blog in between antibiotic doses.

I said goodbye to my days as a primary teacher. I bawled like a baby when they sang me a farewell song, and I already miss their sweet spirits brightening my week. Who will I bake cookies for now?

Christmas is still going for us because we just opened our gifts from my sister this weekend! I love the Kate Spade bracelet and the scarf she got me on her trip to Florence, Italy. I may or may not be wearing it right now..

And I am just in love with my new yellow flats- the result of Christmas gift cards.

My little sister Mack has turned into Sister Wright, missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

She left for the Missionary Training Center this week, and I was able to hear her farewell talk in church on Sunday. It was hard to say goodbye, but she knows that I love her and am praying for her everyday. I was so impressed by her passion. She's determined and ready to serve. I am just so proud of her and so excited to see what Tokyo has in store for this sister missionary!

Speaking of Tokyo, our we found out that we have a substantial layover there on our upcoming vacation.

The bad news: We will be there while Mackenzie is still at the MTC, so there will be no missionary hunting. (like we would have a chance of actually finding her in one of the world's most populated cities)

The good news: I can forever say that I beat her to Tokyo. haha. Big sister wins.

There's a whole lot of daydreaming and planning going on for this vacation. I just love planning trips. A big part of the fun for me is the research- finding the best restaurants, the best views, tips on popular sights. If anyones got some SE Asia tips feel free to send them our way ;)

Just a sneak peek into the super detailed research.

So my weekend is full of more travel prep, lots of fluids, and naps. Living the dream baby.
