Two Months Update.

.Some great date nights.
fishhh tacoooos.
Drawing me a unicorn at Macaroni Grill
.Midterms. Bleh.
.We bought a couch! We needed one badly, because all we had is a chair, and anytime we wanted to watch a movie together we had to move out the chair and sit on the ground. It's the cutest little Ikea loveseat that is literally just for two. It fits perfectly into our tiny home :).
.We did session at the LA temple for the first time as a couple. Man, it is HUGE, especially compared to our tiny Newport Beach temple.
.Umami Burger after the temple. There are no words to describe its perfection.
.Torrey bought Arkam City, some new Batman video game with his leftover birthday money. This means I am now married to Batman, who will leave in a few weeks, when the game has been beaten.

My mom's birthday was this month, and I got her the cutest gift.
They're salt and pepper shakers! She loved them :)
.I've got Thanksgiving on my mind! I will be testing new recipes out on the Mr. all month long. There is some experimental pumpkin bread dough rising in my kitchen as I blog! I'll let you know how it goes. ;)

My man.

Is strong. Handsome. Honest. Caring. Loving. Unique. Affectionate. Intelligent. Independent. Loyal. Warmhearted. Silly. Carefree. A worthy priesthood holder. A good man. My soldier. My provider. My best friend.

Tuesday I got home from work feeling sick and having pain. My sweet Torrey stepped up immediately to take care of me, making me dinner, forcing me to drink water, cleaning the apartment while I whimper uselessly on the bed. He was able to give me a priesthood blessing that night, which I am so thankful to be married to a man who is a worthy priesthood holder. I feel safe knowing that we have that power in our life.

Torrey left early this morning for this month's drill, and he did NOT want to leave me in my pathetic state. He kissed me goodbye when I was still not fully conscious, but when I was getting ready for work, I found the sweetest note from my wonderful husband telling me to get well soon and how he appreciates all that I do. :D

I am a lucky woman <3

Ready, set, married life!

I can't believe we've been married almost a month and a half already! We've started settling into our little life together, and I've got to say I'm loving the married life! Some things I love:

.:Coming home to a hug and a kiss everyday:.
.:Doing absolutely everything together ("I'm gonna go drop off the redbox" "okay, let's go.." :):.
.:Packing Torrey his lunches and making him dinners. I love making them and he loves eating them. A perfect match:.
.:Learning more about each other everyday:.
.:Waking up to the person you love every. single. day.:.

We've had so much happen already. We had a week to ourselves after the honeymoon before Torrey had to go on military drill for two weeks, while I tried to settle into our new routine (and stock the fridge!) Of course I missed him terribly, but the two weeks went quickly with fun texts like these:
The night he got back I was surprised with dinner and flowers from the best husband ever

Torrey's birthday was the weekend he got back from drill, and we went kayaking in Newport with a bunch of our friends, and dinner at Torrey's absolute favorite restaurant, Doughboys. They have the greatest. red. velvet. cake. ever.
A red velvet pod of deliciousness..

and our wedding pictures came! I absolutely love them Julie did a fantastic job.

Many more to come :)
