And it feels so good. The wedding day was so great, so many wonderful friends and family that made it happen. And off to the honeymoon! We went on a 4-day Carnival cruise to Catalina and Ensenada, Mexico.
We slept, we ate, we relaxed. Much needed after all the grey hairs we got from wedding planning.
We loved our tiny little cabin.
It was on the bottom part of the boat, so we could hear the water slosh against the boat as we slept.

Killing zombies with intensity.

Catalina consisted of a tandem bike ride (why did I not get a picture?), delicious treats, and enjoying the view!

There was a waffle underneath those strawberries..somewhere..

In Ensenada we went to La Bufadora, one of three natural blowholes in the world, and the swap meet behind it.

mmm..cow hoof juice..
Best part? We had the greatest. tacos. ever. at this little taco shop in the swap meet. Never will I have a fish taco so scrumptious again.

nom nom nom..
Our favorite part of the whole trip was the time we spent on the boat! We just laid in our bed, ordered room service, watch movies, napped, hot tubbed, napped, and ate as much as our stomachs could possibly hold. We needed our little break from reality, but now we've got to go back to the real world :( Torrey's gotta get back into his 40-hr weeks before he leaves for drill next month, and I skipped the first weeks of school for the honeymoon, so hopefully I'm not too far behind! We will see..

PS. Best best thing on the boat- Every night the person that cleans your room leaves a towel animal! Our guy made them increase in difficulty everyday. I would practically run to the room to see what animal I got. AND we took the towel folding class..because we are that awesome :)
Walrus. First and favorite :)

Engagement memories.

.:Being engaged on the down-low. Torrey was working overtime in order to afford a nice ring, so we were secretly engaged for like a month. We would whisper wedding plans with Megan and lie to friends:.

.:The proposal. Duh! Couldn't say yes fast enough:.

.:New York City. and the millions of memories from it:.

.:His and her iPhones. Enough lovey-dovey emoticons to sink a ship:.

.:Bridal shower #1. Megan slaved over every detail to make it perfect. It was:.

.:Buying his ring in downtown LA."I hope she mails it..":.

.:Almost married friends:.

.:Marriage license. Love how proud he was. Love him:.

.:Saying "we're getting married" to each other in disbelief a billion times:.

.:Moving. We have great friends to help. I had everything organized in labeled boxes,Torrey hadnt even taken the sheets off the bed. Opposites:.

.;Almost crying realizing I had an entire kitchen just for me to cook for Torrey. The only way I know how to show my love. He told me he wasn't hungry once, of which I took as "I don't want any love from you.":.

.:Tracking etsy packages everyday all day. I'm having an etsy wedding:.

.:Toquerville. Almost dying, realizing we can't live without each other:.

.:Bridal shower #2. My mother and all the women in my ward that I grew up in. They were so happy for me. They really are my family:.

.:Ikea. Took a kid to a candy store. No man on Earth loves putting up shelves more than mine:.

.:Patriarchal blessings:.

There aren't enough minutes in a day that I could spend with him. That's how I know.

This past weekend we drove up to Torrey's hometown of Toquerville, Utah for an engagement party his parents were throwing for us. We're getting so close to our wedding date!
The king of his domain :)
We arrived at his parents at 2 or 3 in the morning, and woke up ready to explore the Southern Utah landscape. Torrey wanted to take me out on the family ATV to show me some, since I've never been on one before, so we headed to Toquerville falls. We saw some beautiful landscape and views, and decided to climb one last hill to see the view before we headed back. Climbing up it, we realized too late that it was too steep for the two of us, and the ATV flipped backwards.
We are so so blessed. The ATV flipped over the both of us and rolled down the hill into an old tree, and we got away with only bumps and bruises from falling off. Torrey was able to flip the ATV back over and we were able to meet his parents to take the ATV back. I had hit my head a few times on the fall, so Torrey and his mother took me to the Instacare to make sure I didn't have any complications from hitting my head. I'm so glad we weren't hurt any worse. We had angels watching over us that day.

All of Torrey's six siblings and their families came down for our engagement party, the first time they've all been together in years! We had a family barbecue Friday night, and family lunch on Saturday. All I could say was "You have so much family!!" My family consists of my parents and my three sisters, my brother-in-law Seth, my Grandma Nancy in Hawaii, and my Grandpa Ron and Grandma Lilly in Missouri. That's it! No cousins, no nieces or nephews, so learning how to be apart of such a large family is something completely new to me. Torrey is so happy when his family is together, and I'm learning why. There is so much warmth when everyone is together, sharing, enjoying each others company, so great! Plus I have the most adorable future nieces and nephews EVER, I'm excited to be their Aunt Noelle!
Saturday night was the engagement party, completely put on by Torrey's mother and his family. It was great! Torrey's brother Mark created a beautiful slideshow for the two of us, and I got to meet some wonderful people that were apart of Torrey's life. And my dad came! I loved having him there. It was a great start to our wedding festivities, despite us trying to kill ourselves :) I spent the majority of the weekend quietly healing and napping, while my caretaker Torrey checked on me constantly, but I'm glad for the experience. It's brought us closer together, and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...BUT no more dangerous activities for us, at least not until we are sealed for time and all eternity!!
